Studebaker Wagonaire
The Studebaker Wagonaire is a station wagon made by Studebaker in the United States from 1963 to 1966. Its weirdest quirk: The rear section of the roof slides forward, so you can haul things standing up that wouldn't fit in a normal wagon.
Brooks Stevens' cheap fix for a cash-strapped Studebaker: take the Lark wagon and let the roof slide. Early cars leaked so badly that volume production had to pause while the seals were redesigned.
