Sinclair C5

The Sinclair C5 is an electric recumbent tricycle made by Sinclair Vehicles in the United Kingdom in 1985. Its weirdest quirk: It's legally an electrically assisted pedal cycle, so you can 'drive' it with no licence, at up to 15 mph.

Clive Sinclair's battery-powered one-seater, sold as the future of personal transport. Legally it isn't a car at all, which is the joke and the point.
