Mazda Rotary Pickup (REPU)

The Mazda Rotary Pickup (REPU) is a compact pickup made by Mazda in Japan from 1974 to 1977. Its weirdest quirk: It's the world's first and only Wankel-engined pickup truck.

Mazda put its rotary engine into a small pickup and sold it in North America only. Nobody else has ever tried it.
