Citroën 2CV
The Citroën 2CV is an economy car made by Citroën in France from 1948 to 1990. Its weirdest quirk: The roof is a full-width canvas sunroof that rolls back, so tall loads can stick out of the top. Until 1955 it even stretched down to cover the trunk.
An 'umbrella on wheels' designed to cross a freshly plowed field with a basket of eggs on the passenger seat without breaking any. More than 3.8 million were built.
